Coquelicot Gilland

Coquelicot's work has evolved through her more than 20 years of experience of being a minister with the Association & Integration of the Whole Person (AIWP). To every session, Coquelicot brings her intuition and vast knowledge base. Then she gets out of the way to let something else arise; she makes room for a larger knowledge, and invites grace to enter. Coquelicot has a capacity for deep listening, listening beyond the limits of her personality and academic learning. By dropping and melting into something much larger than herself, she becomes simultaneously a student and a teacher, a facilitator and a catalyst. From there, she supports people to free themselves from the internal obstacles that block their innate ability to access this source directly.

Reversing from: Awakening the Spine

by Esther Myers and Kim Echlin

We usually live on the front part of our bodies and we have developed more on that part, where most of our sensory organs are situated: eyes, nose, mouth, shoulders, hands and chest.
Now we have to reverse our attention giving consideration to the back of our body.

EYES. We should be able to look from the back of the head, following the channel that reaches the skull. This will not only give us a wider and enlarged field of vision and a better perspective where the sides will be included, but our eyes will also be able to rest and gain benefit.

CEREBELLUM. When you relax the cerebellum, you will feel how it extends from one ear to the other, unfolding, like a leaf, at the back of the brain.

NECK. The neck, in line with the spine, follows the shape of the shoulders, keeping the head and chin in place, as the new pull is felt along the back.

LUNGS. The lungs work and function only at their upper level, and the breath never reaches their lowest part, where they narrow down. That very last section is difficult to penetrate, as we are not accustomed to inhale so deeply.

HIPS. By activating the hips at the base of our back, the weight of the body is going to sink down heavily. Let it drop, as if you were getting rid of a sack of potatoes. From the waist upwards the movement is the opposite, giving freedom to the upper part of the body and thereby ,increasing the opening and expansion of the lungs which will give greater potentiality to the breathing.

KNEES. The back of the legs (especially the back of the knees) should also receive an unknown flow of energy, by opening the small spaces behind the knees (in the popliteal coeax) that never see the light of the sun. During the day our knees are always flexed: whether walking, sitting, running or bending; therefore the backs of the knees never extend. Why not give them a chance to function again?
The back of the body is as important as the front and it must regain its dignity.

Coquelicot teaches didactically, experientially and by example. She brings to each session a lifetime's worth of tools, exercises and practices that I use at home to further my own development. Her genius combines intuition, sensing and a comprehensive knowledge of human emotional and biological development. What I've learned from her has not only given me a deeper understanding of my own patterns, dynamics and behaviors, it's also enhanced my understanding of others. I am a far more compassionate person thanks Coquelicot. In fact to the degree that I am a more evolved being in any regard, Coquelicot was instrumental in my transformation.

"Dear God:

Please untie the knots that are in my mind, my heart and my life. Remove the have nots, the can nots and the do nots that I have in my mind. Erase the will nots,
may nots,
might nots that may find a home in my heart.
Release me from the could nots, would nots and should nots that obstruct my life.
And most of all,
Dear God,
I ask that you remove from my mind,
my heart and my life, all of the 'am nots' that I have allowed to hold me back, especially the thought that I am not good enough. Amen."
