Donations

To contribute or tithe is to support the restoration of personal dignity and well-being - one human being at a time. As each person grows they in turn 'Pay forward' their embodied faith, emotional health and enhanced life skills. Through your donations you invest in change, one person at a time. That change grows into family and extended family health, which translates into larger community health and eventually effects change at a cultural level. Ultimately, your gift is an act of cultural kindness, which is part of a larger global movement toward mutual interconnection and compassion.

Interfaith Interface of AIWP (Association for the Integration of the Whole Person) is a multicultural interfaith church. Since becoming a minister with AIWP in 1994, I have taken on the full financial and managerial responsibility of running my ministry … An atypical path.

I have seldom turned away anyone seeking support who genuinely wanted to make changes in their lives, or stopped seeing clients in times of difficulty because they could not make a donation.

Ministries survive through the generosity of their congregants and extended community. We depend on donations that allow us to continue helping people with their lives and goals. I am deeply grateful for your generosity that allows me to help you, others, and the larger community to influence positive change for the greater good of all.

The Pastoral Counseling services I provide are considered "entirely of intangible religious benefit".

I am committed to seeing people relax into their own nature, be as embodied as possible and to express their full capacity as human beings to do the work that Creator intended.

My goal, as resources allow, is to do more outreach programs within the community, especially with Youth who are our future, women who have been abused, as well as share these skills with a wider group of people who would not otherwise be able to access these resources. Your donations allow me to minister to these underserved communities and are fully tax deductible.

Personal connection is the best way to further any cause that touches our hearts. If you have already made personal gains through working with me, please let others know and direct them to this site if you believe they too can support and/or be helped by my work.

Please consider subscribing to Interfaith Interface of AIWP on a monthly basis. There are several options for you easily accessed through the "Subscribe" button above. Your one-time donation is also deeply appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.

In closing, all support, financial and/or well wishing, makes it possible for me to do my fulfilling work, serves others, and brings a measure of grace to us all.

The Promise of Wholes

we are given things
to help us remember
the shape of lakes and continents
the moon with her curves and rhythms
filling and flowing
annunciations of crocuses and lilacs
smells of wet beasts and newspapers

but we need the obvious
simple believability of what
is green
and fixed
and good

of what returns
predictably
dependably
eternally

reassurance that
when we wake
we find ourselves
and our world in tact

chasing symbols
we unfold
universes of quantum leaps
vacuum science
celestial feasts

patterns leading us back to
eat at our own plate
define consequences
attend our fate

this is your spinach
assembling like a heart

your nutrients
your message
keys to generations

those ventricles
your message
keys to generations

those ventricles
the oracles
not unlike the angels
at Delphi
singing to each of us
our wedding song
a commitment to
the greatest ceremony ever told

what is inherent is not transparent

your future:

the cosmos...

a blow ball of a dandelion
sending seeds
infinite possibility
into the temple of space
interstitial womb
where possibility
is eternal

we are given things
to help us remember
our hands
our feet
our cells
our souls

the world of fractures
the promise of wholes

Melting into the Golden White

Melting into the golden white,
Sinking into the aqua blue,
Widening through to the horizon.

Concentric circles of meaning and light,
Flowing one into the other.
Limitless,
Pulsing,
Breathing,
Gentle...
Inexorable.

Vertical lengthening and deepening,
Rooting, twice as wide and deep.
Moving through the ground.
The ground answering my call.
Generously moving up through me.
Trust reentering,
Effortless fullness surrendering.
Ease.

New configuration arising.

Mirrored in melting heat
The prickle and sizzle from pins of reason like rain,
Hot and cold,
Shadow and light,
Consciousness loving contrast,
Simultaneously looking for relief.
Newest vestiges of drama dissolving.
Spaciousness.

Mixing,
In the two light time...
The thinning veils
Bearing fruit.
Myriads of mandalas everywhere.
Pattern recognition.
Prisms.
Sunlight caught in water.
Saturated in color,
Feasting,
Savoring,
Fullness.

Both ripe and rich,
Both beginnings and endings.
New tender shoots emergent.
On soil fertile,
Rotted,
Transformed through decay,
Into that which gives new life.

The Invitation
It doesn't interest me what you do for a living
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
for love
for your dreams
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon...
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life's betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your
fingers and toes
without cautioning us to
be careful
be realistic
to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me
is true.
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand on the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
"Yes."

It doesn't interest me
to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after a night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.

It doesn't interest me who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the center of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone
with yourself
and if you truly like the company you keep
in the empty moments

"Human Adulthood is the real prize. Anyone who is involved in spiritual pursuits is actually pursuing Human Adulthood but probably doesn't know it. The point I wanted to make is that Human Adulthood is what everybody really wants and not many people really have.

The child has to die for the adult to be born and this very seldom happens. It's a cataclysmic, death/rebirth event. Once born into this adulthood, all of life becomes about growth and discovery.

The universe is the playground of the Human Adult. Human Adulthood is all about wandering and exploring and playing. It's about living life and fulfilling potential and expanding without limits.

All the good things that can be said about enlightenment and religion and spirituality are the natural qualities of Human Adulthood; manifestation of desires, flow and effortless functioning, positive emotions that are not fear-based such as awe and gratitude and agape, which reflects an understanding of the connectedness of things.

This is obviously what everyone really wants, not truth realization/enlightenment. "
- From "Jed McKenna's Notebook"

"PONO:
if it is good, if it is in balance, if it is right, if it helps, if it is righteous, if it corrects, if it is responsible, if it is caring, if it is humble, if it is peaceful, if it honors, it is pono.

Life is a tapestry; threads of many kinds and colors are interwoven back and forth in wonderful designs. We weave as we live, and what comes out is what we are. Each act in our life is a thread that we have woven into our tapestry.

The decisions we make define the threads in our tapestry. Are we keeping ourselves pono? When we find we are not, do we correct it? Do we set boundaries on how much we will allow attachments and distraction to come into our lives?

Is our 'ohana there, and in their proper place? If we can learn to do this, we can weave a beautiful tapestry. "
